ccFirstSite is a pipeline data collection system designed to collect "as-built" pipeline data during construction. By capturing slope station and coordinate location information electronically as the system is being constructed, the time required to produce final as-built alignment sheets is substantially reduced.

The strength of ccFirstSite lies in its integration of traditional pipeline survey techniques with "cutting edge" technology such as GPS. ccFirstSite closely integrated with the INTREPID facility management system.

By maintaining the close relationship between the ccFirstSite data model and INTREPID, loading of the target data to be posted to the corporate database soon after the pipeline is placed into service. Thus making the records available to pipeline operations and maintenance personnel immediately.
