Project Description:
Survey, engineering, permitting, design, construction support & as-built drawing generation associated with 300 miles of mainline & lateral pipelines in the states of Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont and Massachusetts. Pipeline routing included roadway occupation, parallel utility corridor occupation (powerline & pipeline), and virgin Rights-of-Way. Surveying efforts consisted of obtaining all existing conditions information in support of the design effort, as well as, providing digital orthophoto imagery to be used a the base mapping for the pipeline alignment sheets. Design efforts consisted of developing the design of the wall thickness of the steel pipe, specified minimum yield strength, DOT class location requirements, metering, regulation, and instrumentation design for seven, meter station locations. Agency coordination efforts were also required, associated with the Highway Departments in each state, as well as, local municipalities.
