Ken
Stanley, Partner and Principal of Coler & Colantonio, Inc. has
acquired nineteen-years of diversified engineering and survey experience
in the military (U.S.A.F. Special Forces, active duty), private
and utilities sectors.
At
Coler & Colantonio, Inc., serving in the capacity of Principal,
Ken's responsibilities have included the oversight of the firm’s
Pipeline Services activities. The Pipeline Services Groups support
the natural gas, oil products and electric utilities. This support
involves Civil, Survey, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering services
as well as Project Management and Construction Management services.
His responsibilities include the management of crucial administrative
and logistical aspects essential to well executed projects. In such
a capacity, Ken has represented the firm with major utility transmission
and distribution clientele such as El Paso Energy, Duke Energy,
NiSource, Iroquois Gas Transmission, PNGTS, Maritimes and Northeast
Pipeline, KeySpan Energy Delivery Systems, Northeast Utilities,
National Grid, and MMWEC.
Ken
has successfully managed projects focusing on local operations and
maintenance efforts to cross-country transmission efforts. His groups
have generated yearly revenues ranging from $5-Million annually
up to $10-million annually, in labor revenue. He also oversees activities
in two of the firms Branch Offices; Houston, Texas and Portland,
Maine.
Prior
to entering the civilian arena, his military responsibilities included
missions involving the establishment of strategic conventional and
satellite communication network control points via conventional
and global position determining systems (GPS); and the positioning
and operation of portable, tactical navigational aids. Duties also
included the airfield management of tactical short field landing
zones, drop zones and extraction zones as well as the responsibilities
of a multi-positional Air Traffic Control Operator.
